Story
Kae grew up in a violent household, suffering abuse from their father while being protected only by her mother—until her mother passed away. Left alone with no support, Kae abandoned their family and life at a young age, seeing it all as worthless. She only managed to stay in school until middle school, where she was constantly bullied and treated as someone with no future.
During that time, she had a relationship with Iclyn, but it became toxic and emotionally damaging, eventually ending badly. After leaving her past behind, Kae went through a drastic change—from a more feminine and vulnerable person into someone cold, hardened, and independent. their skill in making coffee, something they learned from a young age, became her way to survive and eventually led her to work as a barista in Hoshi’s café.
There, she met Ai—the person who slowly broke through her emotional walls. Through Ai, Kae finally found something she had never truly had before: a place that feels like home.
